W A R U N K I  K O N K U R S U :
 tytuł naukowy profesora nauk humanistycznych;
 dorobek naukowy w zakresie współczesnej literatury polskiej (ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem literatury wojny i okupacji oraz literatury popularnej), a także w zakresie edytorstwa, udokumentowany autorskimi publikacjami książkowymi, redakcją/współredakcją tomów zbiorowych, artykułami w monografiach zbiorowych i w punktowanych czasopismach, wystąpieniami na konferencjach, stażami naukowymi;


 wieloletnie doświadczenie dydaktyczne w uczelni wyższej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zajęć o profilu literaturoznawczym, redaktorskim oraz zajęć autorskich (seminaria, konwersatoria) na studiach I, II oraz III stopnia


 doświadczenie w realizowaniu dużych projektów naukowo-badawczych poświęconych współczesnej literaturze polskiej;


 istotny dorobek w zakresie opieki i kształcenia młodej kadry;


 doświadczenie w zakresie upowszechniania nauki (organizacja konferencji naukowych, członkostwo w organizacjach naukowych);


 doświadczenie w pełnieniu funkcji kierowniczych w uczelni wyższej;


 Uniwersytet Warszawski będzie podstawowym miejscem pracy osoby zatrudnionej w wyniku postępowania konkursowego; osoba zatrudniona w wyniku postępowania rekrutacyjnego jest zobowiązana do złożenia oświadczenia o wyrażeniu zgody na zaliczenie do liczby pracowników prowadzących działalność naukową w momencie podpisywania umowy o pracę.

Dean of the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw announces a contest for the position of an
professor for an unspecified period of time at the Institute of Applied Polish Studies at the Section of Editorship
and Stylistics
Contest terms:
– the academic title of profesor nauk humanistycznych [professor in the field of humanities]
– scientific achievements in the scope of contemporary Polish literature (especially literature of war and
occupation and popular literature), as well as in the scope of editorship, documented by author’s books,
editorship or co-editorship of collective volumes, articles in collective monographs and ranked journals,
participation in conferences, scientific stays;
– many years of didactic experience in the academia, especially courses on literary studies, editorship and
original seminars for the first, second and third cycle of studies;
– experience in realization large research projects concerning contemporary Polish literature;
– significant achievement in the scope of supervising and teaching young scholars;
– experience in the scope of popularization of the science (organisation of scientific conferences, membership in
the scientific societies);
– experience in performing managerial functions in the academia;
– University of Warsaw would be a primary place of employment; at the time of signing the employment
contract the person employed is obliged to submit a statement of consent for inclusion to the number of
academic staff engaging in scientific activities.

Competition Committee settles the competition in accordance with the Ordinance no 18 of the Rector of the
University of Warsaw of 7 March 2016 (as amended) and the rules applicable at the Faculty of Polish Studies,
University of Warsaw.
Expected date of competition result is 9.04.2019. Candidates are informed about the outcomes by phone or e-mail.
The competition is the first stage of procedure of employment as an academic teacher under the Statute of the
University of Warsaw. A positive outcome of the competition is the basis for further proceedings related to
employment in a form of a full-time employment contract for an unspecified period of time.
