Kyiv National Linguistic University (KNLU) is a leading educational, scientific and methodological center for training professionals in Foreign Languages, Orientalists, Teachers of Foreign and Ukrainian languages, Psychologists, Managers, Marketers, Specialists in the field of tourism and recreation. KNLU was founded in 1948.

The structure of KNLU includes five faculties: Oriental and Slavic Philology, Germanic Philology and Translation, Romance Philology and Translation, Faculty of Tourism, Business and Psychology, Philological Faculty of Educational Technologies. KNLU trains specialists in three levels: Bachelor (BA), Master (MA), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in about 20 foreign languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Modern Greek, Czech, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese. KNLU provides training courses for the preparation for National Multisubject Test (NMT), Unified Entrance Exam (EVI), courses of foreign languages (English, Chinese, Korean and others), advanced training courses for teachers / lecturers advanced training courses for scientific and teaching staff, preparatory department for foreign citizens. The Confucius Institute operates in the structure of KNLU.
