Obraz religii we współczesnej literaturze i sztuce
Szanowni Państwo!
Mamy zaszczyt zaprosić na organizowaną przez Koło Naukowe Doktorantów Wydziału Filologicznego Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego im. KEN w Krakowie oraz Samorząd Doktorantów Uniwersytetu Papieskiego im. Jana Pawła II w Krakowie konferencję naukową, pt.:
Obraz religii we współczesnej literaturze i sztuce
W związku z organizowanymi w tym roku w Krakowie Światowymi Dniami Młodzieży, w kręgu naszych zainteresowań znalazła się religia, wraz z szerokim polem jej wykorzystania oraz funkcjonowania w literaturze i kulturze współczesnej. Konferencja adresowana jest do doktorantów oraz młodych doktorów nauk humanistycznych, zajmujących się m. in. literaturoznawstwem, kulturoznawstwem, filozofią, filmoznawstwem, językoznawstwem, antropologią, teatrologią, a także historią sztuki i sztuką. Jesteśmy otwarci na szerokie pole badań, obejmujące wiele kontekstów, perspektyw badawczych oraz sposobów funkcjonowania religii w literaturze i kulturze współczesnej.
Termin to 2-3 czerwca 2016 roku. Konferencja odbędzie się w salach Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego im. KEN w Krakowie, mieszczącym się przy ul. Podchorążych 2.
Na Państwa zgłoszenia oczekujemy do 31 marca 2016. Przyjęci prelegenci zostaną o tym powiadomieni do dnia 10 kwietnia 2016 roku.
Głównym językiem jest język polski. Z uwagi na planowany międzynarodowy charakter konferencji, organizatorzy dopuszczają użycie języków obcych.
Opłata konferencyjna wynosi 250 zł i obejmuje: obiad w wybranym dniu konferencji, kawę, herbatę i przekąski w przerwach pomiędzy sekcjami, uroczystą kolację w pierwszym dniu oraz materiały konferencyjne i planowaną publikację. Opłata nie obejmuje noclegu ani kosztów dojazdu.

It is our honour to invite you to an academic conference titled “The Image of Religion in Contemporary Literature and Art” organised by the Doctoral Students’ Academic Circle of the Faculty of Philology at the Commission of National Education Pedagogical University of Krakow and the Doctoral Students’ Association at the Pontifical University of John Paul II.
In relation to World Youth Day, which will be held in Krakow this year, our sphere of interest includes religion along with the wide range of its utilisation and functioning in contemporary literature and culture. The conference is addressed to doctoral students as well as young PhDs in the humanities who deal with literary science, cultural studies, philosophy, film studies, linguistics, anthropology, theatre studies, art history, and art. We are open to broad areas of study encompassing many contexts, research perspectives, and means by which religion functions in contemporary literature and culture.
The conference will take place on June 2-3, 2016. It will take place in the lecture halls of the Commission of National Education Pedagogical University of Krakow, which is located at Podchorążych Street 2.
The deadline for submitting proposals is March 31, 2016. Accepted speakers will be notified before April 10, 2016.
The main language spoken at the conference will be Polish. Because of the international nature of the conference, however, the organisers allow for the use of foreign languages.
The conference fee is 250 PLN and includes: lunch during a selected day of the conference; coffee, tea, and snacks during the breaks between the sections; a formal dinner on the first day; and conference materials as well as a planned publication. The fee does not cover lodging or travel expenses.

GENESIS – CRACOW 2019. Genetic Criticism: from Theory to Practice
Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and Institut des Textes & Manuscrits Modernes (ITEM) in Paris are pleased to invite you to participate in the international conference GENESIS – CRACOW 2019. GENESIS – CRACOW 2019 will be the second edition of a new series of conferences on genetic criticism, understood as the study of the creative process. THE 1ST BIAŁYSTOK CONFERENCE ON THEORETICAL AND APPLIED LINGUISTICS
In recent years linguistic conferences organized by the Białystok circle of neophilologists have established a strong tradition in terms of providing a forum for the exchange of views on the nature of language. It all started almost fifteen years ago, in 2002. The main aim of the conferences was to provide a meeting ground for a wide range of scholars: linguists, literary scholars, foreign language teaching methodologists, to mention but a few groups of researchers participating in the events. The conferences explored the relationship between language, culture, and social interaction. They were often organized in co-operation with French language scholars.

The third Context, Cognition and Communication Conference will be hosted by the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw. The main theme of the conference is "Varieties of Meaning and Content".
