The Institute of Polish Studies at the Faculty of Humanities of UKSW
The Institute of Polish Studies gathers Polish and international scholars with impressive scientific, artistic and didactic achievements and wide-ranging interests. Our lecturers include specialists in literature, language and culture as well as experts with considerable professional experience in many other areas (film, theatre, media, museums, business).
The Faculty of Humanities offers numerous courses to choose from, including seminars in English.
Students may attend courses dedicated, for instance, to rhetoric, ancient Christian literature, culture of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, or the reception of antiquity in the Polish culture.
The employees of the Institute of Polish Studies are beneficiaries of grant programmes run by the most prominent institutions in Poland – the National Science Centre and the National Programme for the Development of Humanities.
Students may also study at other universities in Poland (through the MOST programme) and abroad (the ERASMUS programme), including Cambridge, Paris, Fribourg, Genoa, Ostrava, Olomouc, Vilnius and Budapest.
